Lync Development
Support and Service for Development of Business Applications that Use Lync 2010
Lync 2010 offers a comprehensive application interface for development that includes components for adding Lync 2010 UC features to your own applications. We provide support and services for the development of business applications that use the Lync 2010 API and embeddable components.
This means that you can embed all the capabilities of Unified Communications into C++, C#, Basic or .NET applications.
Digital Media Software with Embedded Lync Features
The ET Group has embedded Lync features into our own digital media software, Info-VISION, which is a visual communication solution for real time information communication.
Contact Centres: Not only does the Info-VISION solution display KPIs on LCD screens, mobile devices and desktop, but for organizations that have implemented Lync, we:
- Leverage some of the chat features of the Lync 2010 APIs to allow supervisors to communicate with agents directly
- Embed real time corporate data into the Lync or IM client
Companies that already have the Lync 2010 infrastructure in their business network can benefit directly from the Lync UC features without having to install other software.
Piggy-Back on to Group Messaging, Chats and Telephony Services of the Lync Server
The Lync 2010 APIs also include a server based application execution capability. That means that certain functions of your product can be installed and executed directly on the Lync 2010 Server itself. This presents the opportunity to piggy back directly on to the group messaging and chats as well as telephony services of the Lync Server.
Automate sending messages directly to Lync Users, initiate or start phone calls or conferences calls, access all the telephony features of the PBX, monitor presence and availability as users. Server side applications comply with the UCMA 3 standard and so provide a number of industry standard unified communications features.
The ET Group has the skills and knowledge to help organizations leverage Lync.
